I don't own a pet. But my sister-in-law, Shivoyane Peters, does. She took in a French Bulldog named Lulu — paralyzed from the waist down, given away, fostered, and then loved into a real family by her. Diapers 24/7. Groomers who know her quirks. A vet who tracks her history like a cardiologist. Birthday parties. Restaurants. Sitters. Wings.
Watching what Shivoyane quietly does for Lulu every day is what made me realize something: the tools don't match the love. The humans who show up the hardest for their pets are juggling sticky notes, three clinic portals, and a vet record they emailed themselves in 2022.

What made PETNOMA unavoidable was watching his sister-in-law raise a paralyzed French Bulldog named Lulu with the kind of devotion most people don't know exists. The tools didn't match the love. That gap — between how much pet parents care and how badly the systems serve them — is what this platform exists to close.
